This is interesting, thanks. You've opened a lot of doors to explore in your first post.

I'm very interested in the process of dialog between scientists and the general public. By dialog I envision a two way communication, and not just scientists playing the role of teacher while we in the public play the role of student.

More specifically, I'm interested in the foundation of science, our relationship with knowledge. Perhaps we can discuss that together some time.

I must confess, I am an old white man, but I had nothing to do with that, it's all my mom's fault. :-) Seriously, while I am a man, I've also written about a world without men, and that has a lot to do with the way science has empowered both our better and worse instincts.

So, welcome to Substack. I've only been here three months myself, and it's proven to be a rewarding experience so far. I've subscribed and will follow your work with interest.

Phil - thanks for kind comments. I have no problem with old white men, many of my dearest freinds are. I'd be happy to discuss "the foundation of science and our relationship with knowledge". Much of my work has been about this. Where are you based? I'm in LA. I'll look up your Substack.
